Don’s career was as diverse as it was successful. He began his professional journey in farming, an endeavor that showcased his deep connection to the land and its bounty. Eventually, he transitioned into a significant role as a doctor's assistant in Chicago. His entrepreneurial spirit flourished as he found his calling in sales with Mac Tools, where he consistently secured the title of top seller in his region. Don's remarkable talents extended beyond sales; he was a skilled builder and mechanic, capable of assembling large machinery and constructing homes.

Education played an essential role in Don's formative years. He attended boarding school at Enterprise Academy, where he not only thrived academically but also was honored as the best-dressed student. Following his time there, he pursued a nursing degree at the University of Arkansas, reflecting his desire to care for others.

Don was a man of many passions. He found joy in gardening and preserving food, skills that spoke to his appreciation for nature and self-sufficiency. A beloved companion, Sophie, the family's white German Shepherd, was often seen by his side, representing his affection for animals. Don cherished his farm in Kansas, where he embraced the peaceful rhythms of rural life.

He is survived by his devoted sister, Janice; his brother, Richard; his two daughters, Lesa and Stephanie; eight grandchildren; and a nephew, Matthew. They carry forward his spirit and legacy, remembering a man who epitomized generosity, camaraderie, and the unwavering bonds of family. Don C.
